Photovoltaic Energy
Photovoltaic solar energy is the energy obtained by direct conversion of light into electricity through the Photovoltaic Effect.
Benefits: The energy is captured by photovoltaic panels and reaches a converter as a direct current. This energy is transformed into alternating current that can be used in different places. The solar energy captured by these panels during the day is used within the house immediately. All the overrun goes to the electric company, which stores this energy until it is required again in the house – as at night when there’s no solar energy available. That's when the electric company restores to the house the energy saved, thereby reducing costs
